Camp Hill, PA | Full-Time | Direct Hire | $40,000–$50,000 Annually

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | In-Office | Benefits & Training Provided

Are you detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and ready to build a career in a professional office? Abel Personnel is hiring an Administrative Assistant for an established Camp Hill firm specializing in tax, small-business accounting, financial planning, and investment services.

This newly created position combines administrative support, client service, data entry, and document processing. Join a supportive team that will train you in its processes and offer opportunities to learn more about the business.

No previous accounting or financial services experience is required. Administrative assistants, bank tellers, customer service professionals, and recent graduates with strong computer and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

  • $40,000–$50,000 annual salary, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
  • Permanent, direct hire employment: Join the client’s payroll from your first day.
  • Health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
  • Monday–Friday schedule, generally 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • In-office position in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with some scheduling flexibility possible.
  • Hands-on training in the firm’s systems and procedures.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

  • Greet clients arriving for scheduled appointments.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Make follow-up calls to existing clients—no cold calling or solicitation.
  • Prepare and process investment account paperwork accurately.
  • Enter and update information while checking documents for completeness.
  • Scan, organize, and assist with mapping source documents for tax and accounting work.
  • Maintain orderly electronic records and protect confidential client information.
  • Use Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, and Outlook to support daily office operations.
  • Work closely with colleagues and assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working with numbers, forms, and data entry.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional customer service approach.
  • Ability to manage tasks, follow procedures, and learn new software.
  • Dependable attendance and a collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to work onsite in Camp Hill during the scheduled office hours.

Helpful backgrounds include: administrative support, office assistance, banking, bank teller work, client service, or customer service. Experience in a CPA office, accounting firm, or financial services practice is a plus.

A college degree is not required.
