The County of Yuba is currently recruiting a Social Worker I in the Adult and Child Protective Services division of the Health and Human Services Department. Under close supervision, incumbents perform routine to minimally complex social services case work by providing a variety of services to County residents; identify, assess, and arrange alternative solutions to clients needs and obstacles; carry a minimally complex caseload; and perform related work as assigned. The work may be related to a specific program area or to a more general social service benefit provision.

Education and Experience:
MINIMUM: 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter units in behavioral or social sciences, psychology, social work, or related field and one (1) year of case management experience in a health, social services, or community-based organization.
PREFERRED: Bachelors degree from an accredited college with major coursework in a related field and additional years of case management experience in a public agency.
