We handle everything from smaller “honey-do list” repairs up through light renovation projects. We do not build home additions or take on large-scale, full remodels — so if you love variety without the grind of massive projects, this is a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Perform residential (and light commercial) repairs, maintenance, and light renovation work
• Drywall & ceiling repair, including new drywall installation
• Painting, staining & sealing
• Trim, crown molding, doors, windows, cabinets & hardware installation
• Shelving, storage, mailbox & post installs
• TV, picture & wall art mounting
• Flooring & tile
• Vent & dryer vent cleaning
• Fence, railings & decks
• Mobility & accessibility upgrades (grab bars, handrails, etc.)
• Furniture and general assembly
• Smart home & tech installs
• Electrical and plumbing repairs/installations (where licensed and qualified)
• Seasonal & filter maintenance, and other light remodeling/finishing jobs as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients and maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment
• Document work completed and materials used

As a more senior hire, you may also:

• Mentor and support other team members on job sites
• Serve as the point of contact for clients on more complex jobs
• Help train new team members on tools, techniques, and company standards

Trust & Safety

Our techs work directly inside customers' homes — often around families, kids, and pets — so trust is a core part of this job. Passing a background check and drug screening is required for this position. Criminal history is evaluated individually based on its relevance to the role — having a record doesn't automatically disqualify you.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a handyman, contractor, remodeler, or facilities maintenance tech
• Strong knowledge of residential construction/remodeling practices (carpentry, drywall, small deck builds, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (5+ years); no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 10 years required for this driving position
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and, ideally, lead or mentor others
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills (nice-to-have, not required)

• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Drywall repair
• Attic stair installation and repair
• Minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Experience training or mentoring other techs
