Fleet Mechanic

Gustafson Plumbers is looking for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a family-owned company with over 125 years in business and take pride in maintaining a hardworking, team-focused environment.

We are looking for someone dependable, experienced, and motivated to help maintain our growing fleet of trucks, vac haul and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment
• Tire repairs and replacement
• Diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines
• Vehicle wiring and electrical repairs
• Maintenance and repair of drain cleaning equipment, cables, and cameras
• Preventative maintenance to keep fleet and equipment operating safely and efficiently
• Opportunities for field work and drain cleaning training for motivated individuals

Qualifications:

• Experience working on diesel and gas engines
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with heavy equipment and fleet vehicles preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• CDL is a plus but not required
