The Inventory Manager at Label Specialties will be responsible for purchasing, organizing, and distributing raw material (paper stocks, film stocks, lamination) to meet production demands. The position will manage three shifts of warehouse staff, including the hiring and training of several part-time workers, conducting regular inventory counts, and building supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
· Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of raw material to ensure production flows smoothly
· Supplier Relations: Evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain relationships with raw material vendors.
· Quality Control: Inspect incoming raw material to ensure it is ready to use
· Dock Oversight: Direct receiving and outgoing freight shipments
· Staff Leadership: Manage, hire and train warehouse personnel.
· Safety: Maintain a safe, clean warehouse; properly maintain equipment; train staff on safety standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Work Experience: Proven experience as an inventory manager or similar role, preferably in label printing, manufacturing, or packaging.
· Software Experience: Familiarity with inventory management systems would be a huge plus, as we are looking to improve our systems. MS Excel proficiency required.
· Technical Knowledge: Forklift certification will be required, training can be provided.
· Analytical Skills: Strong numerical ability to analyze, forecast, and manage data.
· Organization: Ability to ensure a high turnover warehouse space is kept clean and organized.
Physical Requirements
Excellent mobility is required. Must be able to consistently lift and move 50 lbs. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
