Associate / Office Sharing

Established Southern Ohio law office looking for new attorney or semi-retired attorney that desires to work in friendly but busy law office to lighten current case load on senior attorney. In exchange for free or reduced rent, candidate would handle the firm's family law cases and some criminal cases. Candidate must also be certified Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) or willing and able to complete GAL training/certification. Afterwards, candidate would take on Court Appointed GAL cases and retain any fees from GAL cases. Experience a plus but not necessary. Otherwise, Senior attorney willing to mentor and train young inexperienced attorney. Successful candidate will be working in a beautifully furnished law office and also free to work from hybrid office/home. Candidate must be motivated and able to prioritize projects as needed. Salary negotiable depending on experience and structure of contract etc.

Successful Candidate must be:

*licensed to practice law in Ohio.

*certified Guardian Ad Litem or willing to obtain certification forthwith

*able to be insured by OBLIC or other professional Insurance provider

*able to prioritize tasks as to importance and deadlines

*able to use a computer and available intra office software (after training)

*have a valid Ohio driver's license

*able to work well with others and as a team player all the while working in friendly family like atmosphere
