Management Position Large Self Storage Project-Hampton, VA 23666

AMERICAN CLASSIC STORAGE is seeking an Experienced Manager for a large self-storage facility on the Virginia Peninsula in Hampton, VA. This is an immediate opportunity for the right candidate. You will be responsible for managing hundreds of self-storage units and parking spaces, and overseeing vendors, customer accounts, relief managers, and maintenance staff. Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and excellent customer service are vital to our company culture. This locally owned and managed facility requires someone who can effectively manage customer accounts, follow up on leads, close new business, and maintain the property. Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting is also required. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and must follow all policies as instructed. Strong email and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. The starting salary range will depend on experience, and there is potential for bonuses. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work. You will be provided with a relief manager and maintenance assistance.

The Property Manager's responsibilities include:

• Reliable transportation and dependability are a must; need a driver's license
• Keep Office and Property Clean
• Strong customer service heart and people person
• Assisting New Leads with storage solutions
• Daily Customer Account Management
• Office and computer experience required
• Capable of quickly learning software specific to our business
• A portion of your day is spent outside showing units and completing site inspections
• Following policy and direction from the Operations Manager
• Daily Property Inspections
• Professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds is required
