Recovery Coach
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Lived experience related to recovery, substance use disorder or family/community recovery support strongly preferred; experience providing peer support, recovery coaching, outreach, or working with individuals with substance use disorder preferred.
- Completion of approved Peer Recovery Specialist training following hire
- Ongoing education in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and systems navigation.
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position: - Provide ongoing recovery support, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention support, and early re-engagement for individuals with OUDs.
- Assist patients in identifying recovery goals, overcoming barriers to treatment engagement, and maintaining connection to medical, behavioral health, and community-based recovery services.
- Collaborate closely with substance use navigators, medical providers, and community partners to support continuity of care and long-term recovery stability.
- These functions are not all inclusive
