Traveling Superintendents

We’re Hiring Field Leaders — Not Just Superintendents 

RADIX Construction is a national commercial general contractor based in Nampa, Idaho, and we’re looking for Traveling Superintendents who take pride in running great jobs, leading strong teams, and delivering projects the right way. 

This role is for builders who own their jobsite—people who set the tone, hold the line on quality and safety, and know how to push a project forward without excuses.

At RADIX, you won’t be micromanaged—but you will be supported. We’ve built strong systems so our supers can focus on what matters: leading people, controlling the schedule, and building great projects. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader driving project success from start to finish. 

• Lead all on-site construction activities for commercial projects  

• Build, manage, and own the project schedule (CPM and short-interval / 3-week lookaheads)  

• Plan and sequence trades to maintain production and hit milestones  

• Manage subcontractors, daily field operations, and jobsite coordination  

• Read, interpret, and enforce contract drawings and specifications  

• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with all jurisdictional requirements  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized jobsite  

• Enforce OSHA safety standards and lead by example  

• Drive quality control—ensure work is built right the first time  

• Communicate daily with PMs, owners, inspectors, and trade partners  

• Identify issues early and solve them before they impact schedule or cost

• You communicate clearly and professionally with everyone on the project  

• You don’t make excuses—you solve problems and keep work moving  

• You’re organized, detail-oriented, and stay ahead of the job  

• You take feedback well and adjust quickly  

 Core Experience 

• 5+ years as a commercial Superintendent  

• Proven track record delivering successful projects  

• Experience with ground-up commercial construction (retail, restaurant, medical, office, industrial, federal, or multi-family)  

• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and field execution  

Technical & Field Skills 

• CPM scheduling and short-interval planning (3-week lookaheads)  

• Trade sequencing, coordination, and inspection management  

• Quality control and punchlist execution  

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards  

• Computer proficiency (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Procore, BlueBeam)  

 Certifications 

• OSHA 30  

• First Aid / CPR  

 Travel & Compensation

• Nationwide travel required  

• Per diem and lodging provided  

• Compensation based on experience  

• Profit sharing  

• Self-managed PTO  

Salary

• $80,000 - $120,000 per year DOE
