We are actively seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a growing HR team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, HRIS systems (Workday preferred), and payroll auditing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify bi-weekly payroll for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax forms, deductions, and direct deposits
• Handle payroll adjustments, including retro pay, wage changes, ACH reversals, and corrections
• Manage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders
• Audit payroll reports to ensure accurate tax calculations and deductions
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies
• Generate payroll reports for leadership and internal audits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping issues and provide solutions
• Interpret payroll policies and assist employees with payroll-related questions

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, payroll taxes, and compliance regulations
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Workday preferred)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
