The City of Farmington is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing HR strategies that align with the Citys mission, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with City goals.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
Design and implement employee training and development programs.
Manage performance appraisal processes and promote a feedback-driven culture.
Address employee relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Oversee payroll and related reporting, including IRS, APERS, and LOPFI.
Qualifications:
