RCS is seeking a licensed registered nurse to begin with the 2026-2027 school year.  Starting salary of $51,494 but is commensurate with experience. Benefits as per the RTA contract. Applications may be submitted by 5/30/26

A School Nurse provides comprehensive health services to support student well-being and academic success. Responsibilities include assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses, administering medications, and managing chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies. The School Nurse maintains accurate health records, ensures compliance with state and local regulations, and develops individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs. This role involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healthy school environment. The nurse also conducts health screenings, monitors immunization compliance, and responds to medical emergencies. Health education is a key component, including teaching students and staff about hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations are essential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to supporting the physical and emotional health of all students.
