If you are a construction supervisor or a skilled trades professional looking to reduce the daily physical workload while continuing to use your hard-earned expertise, a position in Building Inspection may be the ideal transition.  Building Inspection Underwriters of PA is expanding our inspection team and we welcome applicants with commercial construction experience.

We offer roles for certified inspectors as well as positions for candidates who have not yet obtained certification.  Our onboarding program includes formal training, hands-on field experience with senior inspectors, and support to prepare for the certification exam.  This path allows you to move into a professional, less physically demanding career without losing the practical application of your construction knowledge.

Inspectors at our firm perform thorough evaluations of commercial properties, produce professional reports and communicate findings to clients.  The role rewards attention to detail and strong observation skills.  You will have the opportunity to grow in a respected industry role, benefit from ongoing professional development, and enjoy a more predictable work rhythm than traditional site supervision.
