They also manage promotions, station events, and digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and track annual marketing and communications plans.
- Promotion & Branding: Plan and execute promotional campaigns, contests, and giveaways to increase listener engagement and station brand loyalty.
- Advertising & Partnerships: Negotiate advertising contracts and create marketing campaigns for clients and the station.
- Event Coordination: Organize on-site promotional events, artist performances, and community appearances.
- Digital/Social Media: Manage the station's digital presence, including websites and social media channels to increase engagement.
- Market Research: Analyze listener data, consumer behavior, and competitor trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or broadcasting preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the radio or media industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and CRM systems.
