We are seeking an energetic, organized and motivated marketing specialist for our Marketing, Business Development and Sales efforts. The Marketing Department is responsible for a broad range of activities including an extremely high number of short, letter-type proposals, a small number of RFP responses, an aggressive branding effort primarily through conference and event participation, email and social media marketing, and a variety of other initiatives. The Department is working to model itself as a service provider to the rest of the company and prides itself on its strong culture of customer service. The successful candidate will work with staff and contribute to the daily tasks of the Department, interact with the technical leaders of the firm, and help the Department become even more effective in its mission of doing what needs to be done to bring in work. More specifically, they will lead and assist with the development and execution of marketing initiatives, which may include website updates, social media posting, creation of advertisements, creation of collateral materials, CRM management and data entry, presentation preparation and proposal writing. The company has a small, but growing number of branch offices and interaction with and some travel to these locations is required. In addition, the successful candidate will also help lead the Department as it grows and evolves toward an even more effective execution of its mission. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related subject or equivalent experience; 4-7 years of experience in marketing in the Engineering-Architecture- Construction industry, preferably with experience in Environmental Engineering. Experience in a leadership role is highly desirable. Required skills include advanced writing and communication abilities, basic graphic design and social media, and a working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with CRM systems (the firm has adopted Cosential) is desirable. Candidate must be able to very effectively communicate with coworkers, technical staff and outside vendors. Candidate must be highly motivated, with proven leadership and teamwork skills, and a strong customer service orientation.
