Are you someone who doesn't mind getting your hands dirty to get the job done? We are currently seeking dependable Assembly Workers to join our manufacturing team. This is a vital role in our machine shop that requires a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our equipment assembly, both before and after painting. We are an industrial manufacturer with our own product line as well as motor repair for the wind power industry.
You will be working directly with industrial parts, which involve cleaning motors and handling parts that can be covered in oil, grease, and dirt. If you enjoy mechanical work and aren't afraid of a little grime, you’ll fit right in.
Degreasing and cleaning motors and components to prepare them for assembly or paint. Following blueprint detail drawings to install sub-assemblies and purchased parts. Using shop paperwork and computers to track progress and record any necessary changes. Operating a forklift safely and using hand tools for daily tasks. Maintaining a safe workspace and following all lifting protocols.
Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong mechanical aptitude. You need the ability to read blueprints and shop drawings. Ability to lift 25+ lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a shop environment. Steel-toed shoes, and Safety glasses, are required.
Must be at least 18 years old and must be able to pass a drug screen.
This is Full-time, daytime hours, we close at 4:30 PM, we have paid health insurance (for the individual – NOT a family plan) and the possibility of overtime.
