PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER
Gloucester County is seeking a qualified
and motivated Public Information Officer
to develop and disseminate strategic
communications through publications and
social media platforms. Responsibilities
include the coordination of press releases,
facilitation of media relations and support
of public events to ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication with the community.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in the subject area of Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
Candidates should have up to five (5) years
of experience in work involving the
dissemination of information in the field
of news media, public relations, public
affairs officer, technical editor, public
information officer, publicity, advertising, or
similar experience, preferably in a government setting. Excellent written and oral presentation skills are required. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $115,000, based on education and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits
