The Water Distribution Field Employee provides labor and assistance to the District Manager/Board of Trustees as needed to ensure water safety and quality. Key duties include but are not limited to routine meter reading, water quality sampling, asset location marking, GIS collection, and other general duties and special projects as instructed by the District Manager. Duties/Essential Job Functions: Read master meters daily. Collect and test water quality samples throughout the distribution system on a routine basis. Manage JULIE locate tickets, record keeping, and marking pertinent District assets. Collection locations of District assets for permanent record in GIS (Geographic Information System).
