Inside electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in many different types of buildings. These include offices, stores, hospitals, schools, and large industrial facilities like paper mills, factories, and chemical plants. Even though they are called “inside” electricians, their work often takes them both indoors and outdoors depending on the project. They read blueprints, lay out wiring, install conduit, and connect circuits to power panels and equipment.
Inside electricians also troubleshoot problems, test systems to make sure they are working safely, and follow all electrical codes and safety rules.
