School Data Specialist and Secretary to the Director of Instructional Support Services

The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, integrity, and reporting of the school district's Student Information System and associated data repositories. The candidate will also 
provide administrative support to the Director of Instructional Support Services to ensure efficient 
operation of the CSE office. Must meet civil service requirements. NYSED fingerprint clearance required. Continued employment will be contingent on successfully passing the required Civil Service examination. Salary: $39,936

The School Data Specialist & Secretary to the Director of Instructional Support Services provides administrative, clerical, and data management support to ensure the efficient operation of instructional programs and services. Responsibilities include collecting, entering, maintaining, and analyzing student and district data; preparing reports; monitoring data accuracy; and ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements. This position assists with maintaining student records, coordinating assessments, tracking instructional program information, and preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations. Additional duties include managing calendars, scheduling meetings, answering inquiries, maintaining confidential files, organizing department activities, and providing support to administrators, staff, and families. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, computer, and data management skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information. This position requires professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
