Electrical Engineer (CROWN Cork & Seal USA Inc. / Mesquite, NV) - Responsible for applyng electrcl theory & related knwldge to test & modify developmntl or operatnl electrcl machinery, electrcl cntrl equipmnt, & circuitry in an indstrl plant settng. Reqs Bach deg in Electronic Engnrng, Mechatronics Engnrng, or closely rltd field & 5 yrs exp in job offrd or as Automation Engnr, Electric Controls & Maintenance Engr, Electrcl Supervisor, or in simlr positn(s) in the food & beverage metal packagng indus. Bkgrd in educ, trainng or exp must incld knwldge of automtn sys & conveyor line cntrl; knwldge of buildng facilities incldng compressed air, water, hydraulics, vacuums, heatng & coolng; knwldge of power distributn incldng voltage up to 4160v, 3-phase instrumentatn, & calibratns; knwldge of Honeywell process cntrl sys incldng set-up & progrm apps; ability to design, modify, & plot using AutoCAD softwre; ability to install, set up, & progrm Allen-Bradley PLCs; workng knwldge of motor cntrls, Variable Freqncy Drives, & Direct Current Drives; supervsry exp in indstrl mfg. Approx 10% travel reqd to attend corp meetings, trainings, visit clients or supplrs, & support other co. plants in N. America.
