Production Manager, 3rd shift, Label Manufacturing Plant

Label Specialties is seeking a full-time, third shift Production Manager. This is an overtime eligible, supervisor's position with excellent pay and benefits. Experience in label printing, material handling, supervision or production management required. Successful candidate will have a positive attitude, an ability to motivate his or her team, and a commitment to quality work, safety and deadlines.

The 3rd shift Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of our third shift operations, including job scheduling, employee supervision, and plant safety:

• Manage workflow for both digital and flexographic presses, set production targets, and ensure customer orders are completed on time.
• Maintain a safe working environment for the entire third shift team.
• Act as final QC for all orders printed, finished or boxed third shift. Maintain strict print quality standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate a team of press operators, machine operators, art technicians, and warehouse associates.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills (written and in-person), coordinating production with other departments and shifts.

This is a manager’s position but includes a significant amount of highly detailed work in addition to lifting, moving, and standing; requires excellent mobility as well as the ability to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to distinguish colors.
