Receptionist/Inside Sales - The Daily Herald
Are you looking for a career where you can make a real impact in your local community? The Daily Herald is seeking a customer service, detail oriented Receptionist/Inside Sales person to join our team in Everett. This full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday) is perfect for a proactive and organized individual who excels at multitasking.
What You'll Do
You'll be the first point of contact for our office, handling incoming calls and assisting walk-in customers. You'll also provide essential support to our leadership team and staff across various departments, including advertising, circulation, and editorial. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering phones and directing inquiries
Assisting walk-in customers and visitors
Processing obituaries, legal and classified advertisements
Balancing cash register
Digital ad placement and trafficking
Inside sales
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others. The ideal candidate will have:
Prior experience in an office or administrative role
The ability to perform math calculations and balance bank deposits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with computer programs, including database and spreadsheet software
Has an understanding of digital
Strong organizational and time-management skills
The ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
