PLUMBER AND PIPEFITTER & HVAC/SERVICE TECHNICIANAPPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITIES: The Pipe Trades Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee sponsored by the UA Local #525Plumbers/Pipefitters and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Las Vegas will acceptapplications for the Plumbers and Pipefitters and HVAC Apprenticeship programs from November1st, 2026 through January 31st, 2027 for the September 2027 school year. Applications will beONLINE ONLY. Please apply at www.local525jatc.org. The deadline for applying is January31st, 2027. Applicants must have all the required documents to apply online. You may only applyonce per application period. This program is a minimum five-year commitment which does notguarantee employment. This is not a job opportunity; it is a career path. APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS) 1. Minimum age of 18 years. No maximum age limit. 2. Must possess the natural aptitudes essential to acquiring the skills of the trade. 3. Must be physically able to perform all work of the trade 4. Must be legally residing in the United States, genuinely interested in learning the trade, andwilling to comply with all terms and conditions of the Apprenticeship Standards, Rules, andRegulations. 5. Possess a High School Diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or Certificate of High School Equivalency 6. Provide copies of the following documents at the time of application (NO EXCEPTIONS): a. Birth Certificate or Passport b. High School Diploma or a Certificate of High School Equivalency or G.E.D c. Legible High School Transcripts from graduated High School or Certificate of HighSchool Transcripts if available. d. Photo ID (a valid government-issued Drivers license will be required if you areindentured into the program) e. Social Security Card f. Military DD-214 Release Papers and Military Transcripts (If Applicable) g. Official Transcripts of Trade School, College, Work Investment Programetc.(optional) 7. Take a mandatory basic math exam administered by the Committee on the day assigned.*Please note: To test, you must submit the application and all the required documents* 8. An applicant who submits all required documents, passes the math test, and earns the minimumnumber of points required to qualify for an interview shall appear before the J.A.T.C. Committeefor an in person interview 9. Acceptance into the apprentice program is contingent upon successful completion of a backgroundinvestigation, a pre-apprenticeship drug examination and an agility test.
