Straight Truck Driver/Parts packer

We are seeking a Straight Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating  a 24 foot flatbed truck with a capacity of 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).  When you are not driving, you will be helping in the cleaning, shipping department to prep and load your deliveries.  We are a fabrication job shop for steel, aluminum, and stainless parts.  You would be grinding/cleaning parts, counting, and packing per the paperwork and packing slips alongside the shipping department crew.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a flatbed straight truck
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Clean driver's license
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic, You are the only truck driver for D & M Welding

D & M has multiple types of equipment, so we can produce most of our projects completely in house. We produce Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless parts for a large variety of customers.
