Wright State University seeks applicants for the position of Director, Center for Health Professions in the College of Health and Human Services.
The Director will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Center for Health Professions by advancing health professions pathways, student programming, experiential learning opportunities, healthcare workforce partnerships, and academic-practice partnerships that connect students with graduate and professional education and healthcare careers. By collaborating with academic programs, university offices, healthcare employers, and community partners, the Director advances student preparation, expands workforce pipeline initiatives, develops strategic partnerships, and provides strategic oversight of the Centers portfolio of health professions initiatives.
The Director positions the Center as Wright State Universitys hub for health professions exploration, professional preparation, experiential learning, and workforce engagement while supporting alignment with signature programs, including the Medical Scholars Program.
Required Qualifications:
Wright State Universitynamed in honor of aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wrightis located eight miles northeast of downtown Dayton, Ohio. The university serves more than 11,000 students and offers over 340 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional academic programs through six colleges and a medical school. Wright State also operates a branch campus, Wright State UniversityLake Campus, located on the shores of Grand Lake St. Marys in Celina, Ohio.
