Commercial Metal Framing, Drywall & Acoustical Ceiling Positions — Charlotte Area

Coleman Contractors, Inc. is currently hiring experienced commercial metal framing, drywall and acoustical ceiling superintendents, mechanics, and subcontractors to support projects throughout the greater Charlotte region, including Rock Hill, Gastonia and surrounding cities.

We are recruiting for both hourly workers and leadership roles. Open opportunities include:

• Superintendents (hourly and salaried) — responsible for on-site supervision, scheduling, quality control, coordination with general contractors, and ensuring timely completion of trade scope.
• Mechanics — skilled in metal framing and installation of suspension systems and acoustical ceilings, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Subcontract Partners — established trade contractors with proven experience in commercial metal framing, drywall and acoustical ceilings who can provide crew-based pricing or project-based bids.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal framing, commercial drywall applications and acoustical ceiling systems.
• Demonstrated leadership for superintendent roles; ability to read plans, enforce quality and safety standards, and manage crews.
• Valid certifications where applicable, reliable transportation, and ability to work across multiple job sites in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
