Sr. Engineer, Controls. Holland, MI. Lead design, installation, programming, and maintenance of vendor specific PLC automation and controls systems for battery manufacturing. Create, monitor, and modify logic for program design, simulation and testing, start-up, and troubleshooting. Analyze equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance. Create and track FDC and improve equipment production. Document procedures including trouble-shooting and root cause analysis. Train engineers, technicians, operators. Requires 7 years of experience in: working in a manufacturing or automotive engineering environment, communicating /interfacing with servo motors and induction motors (Servo Drive, Inverter), Mitsubishi PLCs, Ladder Diagram Language, and CCLINK network design & diagnostics with PLC. Also requires 5 years of experience in: control setup and commission-ing for automated productions lines, Ethernet/ Pro-finet/Profibus network design & diagnostics with PLC, and Siemens PLCs.
