Medical Laboratory Scientists

University of Mississippi Medical Center located at 2500 N State St., Jackson MS 39216 seeks two (2) Medical Laboratory Scientists to perform a full range of laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to aid in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and to compile specific, technical, statistical and/or numerical data at 960 J K Avent Drive, Grenada MS 38901 and 2500 N State St., Jackson MS 39216. Position requires travel to various worksites within 120 miles. Applicant must have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, and completion of one of the following credentials within 120 days of employment: American Association of Bioanalyst, MT(AAB), American Medical Technologist, MT(AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology, MT(ASCP), American Society for Clinical Pathology, MB(ASCP), or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel CLS(NCA).
