Horse Stable Manager

The Horse Stable Manager oversees a medium-sized team of 4-7 staff responsible for the care and management of performance horses. This role involves direct involvement in training as well as hands-on tasks such as grooming, saddling, administering medications, and providing minor wound care. The manager ensures smooth operation of the stable through effective coordination and use of general management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable facilities and ensure cleanliness
• Provide daily care, grooming, and feeding of horses
• Monitor health and administer medications and minor wound care
• Manage and supervise staff of 4-7 employees
• Coordinate feeding schedules and care routines
• Oversee inventory management for supplies and equipment
• Utilize general management software for stable operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in equine or stable management
• Strong skills in equine care and stable management
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate staff
• Experience with inventory control and management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Bi-Lingual in Spanish
• Effective time management abilities
