Practical Nursing Instructor

Job Description

Help shape the future of nursing by sharing your knowledge and experience with the next generation of healthcare professionals. Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing program beginning in January 2027.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Minimum of two years of paid employment in nursing or in an educational setting.
  • Kansas teaching certificate is not required.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings to promote student learning and success.
  • Plan, organize, evaluate, and continuously improve Practical Nursing curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to support student success and program excellence.

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • 9-month full-time position with your salary paid over 12 months
  • Starting salary: $41,000-$60,000, based on education and experience

  • Opportunity to earn additional compensation by teaching additional courses
