Returns & Repair Technician - Corona, CA

Every e-commerce company has returns.

Most treat them as a problem – we build a business out of them. ATLETICA, a German fitness equipment brand, is entering the US market and just opened its first operation in Corona, CA, and our returns & resale channel gets built from day one, by you. You will handle all returns from A to Z: take them in, decide whether they’re resellable, assemble and build them up when they’re not, and bring them to our resale platforms and warehouse outlet. A rare opportunity to own a whole area from the start – and grow as ATLETICA scales.

ATLETICA is a German fitness apparel and equipment brand – 120+ employees and over $50 million in annual sales, and one of the top 3 fitness e-commerce companies in the German-speaking market. In 2026 we opened our first U.S. operation: a brand-new 75,000 sq ft warehouse and office in Corona, CA, shipping our home-gym equipment to customers across the United States.

This is a build-it role: our U.S. re-commerce channel starts with you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Take in every customer return and inspect it: contents, condition, completeness
• Decide whether it’s resellable as it is – back to stock or open-box on sale (with clear guidelines)
• Build it up if not: assemble, repair, and replace parts – bolted steel frames, cable-and-pulley systems, benches, and racks – until it’s ready to sell
• Bring it to resale: photograph, describe, price, and list every item on our resale platforms – and handle buyer questions and orders
• Run our warehouse outlet: sell to local customers in person at our point of sale
• Keep clean records: return reasons, item grades, and recovery value – your data shows us why products come back

WHAT YOU BRING

• Trustworthy: you run this area independently – valuable inventory, honest grading, real money, clean records. We count on your judgment every day
• Resourceful: you can assemble products even without an assembly manual – good reasoning and common sense get you there – and when a part is missing, you’re willing to track down the right spare part to bring the item back to sellable condition
• Tech-savvy: very comfortable with digital tools – marketplace listings, point-of-sale, phone-camera product photos, inventory apps – and quick to pick up new software
• Dynamic and hands-on: energy and pace matter – you’d rather build something than sit at a desk
• A mechanical background is a must: you come from an industry where assembling metal products is the daily work – think fitness equipment service, bicycle or motorcycle mechanics, machinery or equipment assembly, metal fabrication, furniture/appliance installation, automotive, or maintenance
• Confident with hand and power tools – hex/Allen keys, torque wrench, impact driver – and used to working from assembly instructions and exploded-view drawings
• A feel for bolted connections and moving parts: frames square and tight, hardware torqued, cables and pulleys running smoothly, nothing wobbles when you’re done
• Selling on an online marketplace is a strong plus – your own private reseller account absolutely counts, and we’ll train the rest
• Comfort with physical work: lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working onsite in Corona, CA is a must – this is not a remote job (retail/POS experience a plus)

PAY & BENEFITS

• $22 – $25 per hour, depending on experience
