Commercial HVAC Startup & Commissioning Technician
Cincinnati, OH
Put your HVAC experience to work commissioning new systems—not chasing neglected equipment in the middle of the night.
Perfection Group is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Startup & Commissioning Technician to join our Cincinnati team. Approximately 95% of the equipment you’ll work on is new, there is no nighttime service work, and weekend work is minimal.
This is a highly technical, hands-on opportunity to review installations, perform equipment startups, troubleshoot system issues, and confirm that complex HVAC systems operate as designed. You’ll work closely with project teams, engineers, contractors, and customers—and have opportunities to grow as our commissioning capabilities expand.
A company vehicle, major tools, continued technical training, and a clear opportunity for professional growth are provided.

- Verify equipment interlocks, safeties, controls, setpoints, and sequences of operation
- Identify installation or design concerns and recommend practical corrective actions
- Communicate findings clearly to engineers, project managers, field teams, contractors, and customers
