Electrical Hardware Engineering Manager

Visteon Corporation has an opening for Electrical Hardware Engineering Manager in Van Buren Township, MI, responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits for the automotive industry, applying knowledge and principles of electronic theory, design, and engineering. Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree field. Must have 7 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in an Electrical Engineering position. Exp. must include: Exp. leading hardware engineering teams in the automotive domain; Exp. with Battery Management Systems and cockpit electronics design and development; Exp. with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and automotive cybersecurity standards; Exp. with customer support with automotive OEMs; and Exp. defining hardware development cycles, managing schedules & allocating resources to meet project goals. Hybrid position, emp. must live in reasonable commuting dist. to office address. Domestic and International travel needed, up to 5%, including two annual trips to Visteon Mexico.
