Key Responsibilities
- System Installation: Mount control panels, smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices according to blue prints.
- Wiring & Conduit: Pull low-voltage wire, bend conduit, and hook up electrical connections.
- Testing & Commissioning: Test circuits, verify device operation, and program panels to confirm complete functionality.
- Code Compliance: Follow NFPA 72 and local building rules to guarantee life safety standards.
- Client Handover: Show customers how the system works and explain basic troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on low-voltage wiring or fire alarm setup experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and floor plans.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
- NICET Level I or II certification.
- Experience with major panel brands (e.g., Notifier, Simplex, Fire-Lite).
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, or aerial lifts.
- Strong focus on workplace safety and detail
