Chemical Technician

The Chemical Technician will perform essential support tasks within a small team environment, assisting with sample preparation, chemical testing, and data recording. This role involves working with various chemicals and equipment to ensure accurate and safe operations, reporting directly to a supervisor. The position requires self-supervision, effective time management, and occasional Saturday work, with no travel obligations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis and testing
• Conduct chemical tests and record accurate data
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Mix chemicals safely, including acids and caustic substances
• Operate pumps and control valves effectively
• Self-supervise and manage time efficiently
• Perform some Saturday shifts as needed
• Use hand tools such as wrenches for routine tasks
