Southeast Gas has an immediate opening for an Engineering Services Supervisor at its Corporate Office in Andalusia.
Responsibilities for the position include:
- Leading Southeast Gas' leak survey and cathodic protection programs.
- Supervising major construction projects performed by outside contractors.
- Supervising field technicians and construction project staff.
- Coordinating contractor activities and project schedules.
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable pipeline safety standards.
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Minimum of seven years of progressive engineering experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise personnel, manage construction projects, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in the natural gas or other regulated utility industry preferred.
