T&T Body King is the Northeast's #1 custom truck and snowplow equipment up-fitter and we continue to grow and create jobs. We currently have 3 openings in our 24 bay Latham facility and are looking for a few technicians to learn how to install snow plows, sanders and utility / dump bodies.
We hire mechanics of all skill levels and they advance with us over time. If you already have skills, we want to hear from you as well.

JOB DETAIL:
CLASS C TECH (ENTRY LEVEL)
General duties: Performs general labor necessary to assemble and install the mechanical and electrical components of commercial Snowplows, Salters and Sanders.
- Unboxes plow rear assembly from pallet
- Lifts plow rear assembly using overhead crane and fits into place on the blade unit.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools to attach assembly to blade unit (Screwdrivers, Wrenches, Sockets, Drills, etc.)
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics, and instruction manuals and videos.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Assist in the plow installation process and learn to become independent..
- Perform other tasks as needed to provide a safe, clean environment and assist in meeting production demands of other departments if needed
- Ability to lift items up to 40 pounds.
- Maintain your personal tool inventory
- Maintain Job file and paperwork
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (electrical, mechanical)
- Mechanical aptitude and willing to get dirty
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Adhere to garage PPE and company EHS guidelines. (Gloves, Safety footwear, eye protection, noise protection)
- Mechanic experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person who has their own tools .
