*We are currently offering a $15k sign-on bonus to certified law enforcement candidates, paid in four increments over three years, and a $10k sign-on bonus to all other candidates, paid in four increments over three years.

The Berlin Police Department has immediate openings for full-time Patrol Officers. Located in the heart of the White Mountains in Northern New Hampshire, we are a small but active agency that values training, positive community engagement, and proactive policing.

Patrol pay scale ranges from $30.50-$38.00/hr. based on experience, plus contractual bonuses, incentives, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma

Disqualifiers included

  • Use of marijuana within 12 months of application.
  • Use of unprescribed controlled substances other than marijuana within 36 months of application.
  • Any past incident of selling controlled substances, including marijuana.
