Queensbury Middle School & High School

The Queensbury School District is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Parking Lot Caretaker & School Monitor for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a school calendar position beginning September 2026.

Pay: $18.79 - $21.25 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely on school grounds
• Keep traffic flowing during student arrival and dismissal
• Guide vehicles to designated parking and drop-off areas
• Assist students, parents, staff, and visitors with directions
• Set up and remove parking and event signage
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Courteous, professional, and able to interact positively with the public
• Dependable with sound judgment
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
• Experience as a school crossing guard is helpful but not required
