Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Job Description

  • Retirement will be opening up the Bookkeeper/Office Manager position May 1st 2027 at a family-owned nursery located in Phoenix.  Start date for this job is Jan 1st 2027 to allow 4 months for transitioning the new hire into this role.  If you would like to be part of the agriculture industry, Western Tree Company will be a good fit for you.  We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in full charge bookkeeping duties including A/R, A/P, payroll, tax reporting, general ledger and financial statements.  The job requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications along with experience using accounting software, CYMA preferred.  Applicant needs strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills and to be a positive presence that works well with others.  Must be self-motivated, and dependable.  On-site presence is required Monday thru Friday.  Starting rate of $25/hour based on your qualifications.  Medical, dental and vision benefits offered along with paid time off.  We will be accepting resumes through Dec 1st 2026 at resume.westerntree@gmail.com.
