Certified Forklift Driver / Sit-Down Propane - Lewisville, TX

OnTrack is assisting in finding the right candidates for Shipping Clerk / Sit-Down Forklift and Sit-Down Forklift in Lewisville, Tx. Must be certified forklift driver and must have Shipping Experience.

Shift:

Shipping Clerk/Sit-Down Forklift

Monday - Friday and OT as needed / 6am to 2:30pm / $20.20 hourly

Must have experience with Bill of Ladings, and contacting couriers for pick ups. Computer Savy and must have shipping experience.

Sitdown Forklift Shipping Department

Monday - Friday and OT as needed / 6am to 2:30pm / $19.00 hourly

Must be comfortable loading large loads on trucks

Summary

Responsible for processing shipment bills and packing lists. Receives goods/services and verifies quantities.

Ensures quality and compares goods/services received to purchase orders as well as accurately pull orders for timely shipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives and carries out instructions for job from area supervisor or leadman
• Processes shipment bills/packing lists for customer orders
• Receives goods and services
• Ensures quality and quantity of orders reflects designated department/individual purchase order
• Ensures goods and services are delivered to the designated department/individual
• Operates forklift or powered equipment to pick orders
• Packages orders in containers and wraps with invoice in view
• Compares quantity received to purchased orders
• Load and unload trailers
• Processes return shipments
• Uses a computer to perform data entry duties
• Use handheld devices to properly process shipments
• Load and unload material as assigned
• Stacking parts and band them as assigned
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
• Perform quality checks on parts as assigned
• Measure parts using a tape measure to verify accurate measurements
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards immediately
• Ability to lift 50 pounds at a reasonable rate repeatedly in a normal day
• Must meet or exceed production standards
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Must be able to work as a member of the team
• Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a current forklift operator’s license
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Ability to properly count parts and verify against customer orders
• Ability to learn multiple positions within a department
• Ability to read and analyze information
• Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Organizational skills

Education and/or experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

1 year of related training and/or experience
