Job Description

Responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating parts for tools and machinery using mechanical equipment; interpreting blueprints and design sketches to meet exact specifications and tolerances; selecting and operating tools to cut, shape, and finish metal, plastic, or composite materials; setting up, maintaining, and servicing equipment for safe and efficient operation; using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality; assembling components into sub-units or complete units; and consistently upholding all company safety policies and procedures while ensuring coworkers do the same.

Key Responsibilities

• CNC Operation & Setup: Efficiently set up and operate Haas dual-spindle CNC lathes, bar feeds, and chucks.
• Technical Skills: Perform precision machining, program editing, and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Quality & Inspection: Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and enter production data into company computers.
• Finishing & Packaging: Clean, de-burr, and package finished products.
• Shop Support & Safety: Perform light machine maintenance, operate a forklift, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

• CNC Program Editing
• CNC Set-up
• General machine operation.
• General quality systems.
• General inspection practices.
• Visual inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints/part prints.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools.
