Part-Time Packaging Assistant Cannabis Manufacturing

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to join our licensed cannabis manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our products are packaged accurately, consistently, and in compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations.

Schedule

Part-time: 16–24 hours per week
Flexible scheduling available
Potential for additional hours based on business needs

Responsibilities

Package cannabis products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Accurately apply labels and verify product information, lot numbers, and packaging requirements
Perform quality control checks to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate production, packaging, and inventory records
Assist with inventory counts and material reconciliation
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation and safety standards
Follow all company policies, workplace safety procedures, and Massachusetts cannabis regulations
Support manufacturing and packaging operations as needed

Qualifications

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to consistently follow repeatable processes and documented procedures
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, assembly, food production, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries is preferred but not required

Required Eligibility

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to comply with all Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations and company policies
Must successfully complete any required pre-employment screenings and onboarding requirements

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
