Armed Security Guard

Job Summary:
An Armed Security Patrol Driver is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence by conducting mobile patrols, protecting property, assets, and individuals. This role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents while operating a patrol vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine mobile patrols of assigned areas, properties, or routes
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Enforce laws, regulations, and company policies
• Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Communicate with dispatch, law enforcement, or emergency services when necessary
• Ensure the safe handling and proper use of issued firearms and equipment
• Provide assistance to employees, residents, or visitors as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain patrol vehicle readiness

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Active armed security license/permit (state-specific)
• Firearms training and certification
• High school diploma or GED (minimum)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
