Instruction and Curriculum
- Plan and deliver effective science lessons aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
- Teach core science subjects, which may include Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, and STEM-related topics.
- Integrate biblical worldview concepts into science instruction while encouraging critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, laboratory activities, technology, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, projects, lab reports, and other formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and administration.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student engagement and responsibility.
- Foster a culture of kindness, integrity, and mutual respect among students.
Spiritual Leadership
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and model Christian character in all interactions.
- Lead students in prayer, devotions, and biblical discussions as appropriate.
- Encourage students' spiritual development through daily interactions and classroom instruction.
- Support the school's mission, statement of faith, and spiritual objectives.
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
- Fulfill duties such as supervision, chapel attendance, and extracurricular involvement as assigned.
