Job Description

The College of Education and Health Development at Western Michigan University seeks to fill an Academic Advisor position to provide comprehensive advising services to undergraduate students.
This role supports both enrolled and prospective students by guiding them through academic requirements, including admissions, general education, and program pathways, while helping them understand graduation requirements and course options.
The advisor develops and updates individualized graduation plans, assists with registration, and collaborates with faculty and staff to support student success, retention, and timely degree completion.
