Compensation: $25/hour starting | Up to $28/hour after 90 days (based on performance, reliability, and documentation quality)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic, medical, relaxation, and wellness-focused massage sessions.
  • Work compassionately with a diverse clientele, including veterans referred through VA Community Care.
  • Complete accurate, timely SOAP notes and session documentation.
  • Tailor sessions to support client goals regarding pain relief, mobility, and stress reduction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment room environment.
  • Assist with light clinic duties and hands-off tasks when not actively in session.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, ethics, and client-centered care.

Position Requirements

  • Active North Carolina Massage Therapy License (or eligible for immediate licensure).
  • Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain it prior to start date).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and deep respect for client appointment times.
  • A genuine heart for serving veterans and individuals managing chronic pain or mobility challenges.
  • Professional appearance, conduct, and work ethic.

Preferred Qualities

  • Teachable, open to mentorship, and receptive to feedback.
  • Comfortable learning or executing medical massage documentation.
  • Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about growing with a small but mighty team.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position to start, with excellent room for growth as our client base expands. Availability during weekdays and some Saturdays is preferred. Exact hours and schedule will be collaboratively discussed during the interview process.
