A well-established manufacturing company in the Gainesville, FL area is hiring hands-on Manufacturing Equipment Technicians to support high-speed production equipment.

This is a mechanical setup and troubleshooting role. It is not a computer operator position.

The right person will have hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, machine setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or another transferable skillset. Prior experience with envelope or paper converting equipment is helpful, but not required for mechanically inclined candidates who are open to training.

This role requires good basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete pre-employment testing.

What you’ll do

Set up and adjust production equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical issues during operation

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs

Diagnose equipment problems and help keep machines running properly

Handle materials as needed during production

Support quality checks and production standards

Work closely with the team to keep workflow moving

Lift and move materials as required

What we’re looking for

Hands-on mechanical experience

Machine setup, maintenance, equipment repair, or troubleshooting background

Strong basic math skills

Ability to work in a plant/manufacturing environment

Comfortable with hands-on, physical work

Open to training on specialized manufacturing equipment

Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
