Full Job Description

Join Mr. D's Tree and Landscaping as a part-time CDL Driver and become an important part of a local company proud to serve the Myrtle Beach community. This position calls for a professional driver with a Class A CDL and at least two to three years of driving experience, comfortable operating walking floor trailers for dumping operations. You will be responsible for scheduled runs, typically transporting materials between our base in Horry County and Wilmington, NC. Multiple trips per day may be required depending on workload and routing.

Key elements of the role include maintaining accurate trip logs and records, performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, adhering to road safety regulations, and representing our company professionally when interacting with customers at delivery sites. Punctuality, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. A clean driving record is required and non-negotiable for this role.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical certification when applicable.
• Proven experience with walking floor trailers and safe dumping techniques.
• Two to three years commercial driving experience; long-haul and regional route familiarity preferred.
• Strong record keeping: logbooks, mileage, hours of service, cargo documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Reside near Horry County preferred for prompt start times and reliable attendance.
